No need for wax when using conti-board for a one-off moulding - just apply PVA release agent with a sponge brush

We've always waxed but have been told to nolonger bother by Paul at Melton Fibreglass who will happily mold without wax or PVA on a one off part as the white faced board provides sufficient grip to prevent the part warping whilst still allowing seperation. Saves me a job anway so I'm happy 🙂

Will you add a gel coat finish to the underside of this part or just paint it ?

It will be covered with insulation, but we will probably still give it a coat of flow coat just to finish it off 👍
