Finishing Starfield: Shattered Space and all its Endings!

SPOILERS: - Annoyingly I missed speaking to Constellation after the EVIL ending, we would have been able to enjoy listening to their distain for our disappointment for our decision to restarting the serpents crusade. - Turns out Andreja does actually get closure to her backstory relating to her personal questline if you've finished it. The council members go over her actions. It seems there were lots of other moments where Andreja had dialog for certain moments but for some reason most of them did not trigger on my playthrough. - I've explored some of the surrounding world so far, I've found 3 unique weapons, a unique armor set and as you said in the chat there is actually a legendary helmet that you can miss during the citadel battle, hidden at the bottom back side of the memorial helmets at 2:26:33.

Most people who I've seen who were able to get Andreja to constantly talk also from what I witnessed also happened to have Romanced her. I went to the DLC location right after recruiting her and other than a bit of location awareness there was not much at all Andreja dialogue. Idk why. 🤷‍♂️

I’m not a starfield hater like a lot of people but it’s clear there’s been a massive quality drop from past BGS games. This dlc is just meh, it’s not even close to Dragonborn or Shivering Isles, it’s not even close to Nuka World and definitely not Far Harbor. There’s got to be some kind of restructuring at the company because Elder Scrolls Six has got to match Skyrim’s quality at the very least. From what we’ve seen of BGS in recent years, I don’t think they have the talent to do that.

This "DLC" is literally a typical starfield faction quest that was cut off from the base game just for the sake of being able entice people to purchase the premium edition which did include this thing.

Starfield definitely need to improve the ratio of locked to unlocked loot areas/chests. Danny said it perfectly. "Cant be bothered to open that" 100% is the effect of the poor balance

I think they need some form of gear progression like they had in Skyrim/Fallout, where your level stops you from getting the stronger armor sets in loot/shops. The tier system calibrated/advanced/etc kind of works, but if you find a calibrated unique armor set, its going to be useless to you compared to the advanced one you got before, so you just leave it behind. I think the new armor sets look cool, but they all have worse stats than my other gear, this means I have the same weapons and armor as when I started the DLC. I think charcter/gear progression is important in an RPG. While these new Starfield systems are more advanced than Skyrim and Falllout they remove that key aspect of gameplay that makes me feel like i'm progressing. As for the lockpicking system, I know I already have the best gear/unlimited credits, so the time it takes to lock pick is not worth the rewards (I think the design style of 'keep it simple stupid' lockpicking mini game that skyrim/fallout had was much better, beacuase its still fast and has a skill barrier that I can constnatly do even though i've done it 100000 times before. Starfields lockpicking was fantastic the first 100 times, but now i'm in the late game, i constantly ask myself, is it worth it, or shall i walk around to the other route.

Considering the creation clubs, mods,, and ad ons for the other Bethesda games I kind of always considered this game to be a work in progress even after it was released. My thoughts were they'd keep altering and enhancing it based on player feedback. That would be my move anyway if I was them.

to be fair, Far Habor, when exploring the map from one end to the other, it took time to walk (or stealth walk).., in Starfield your much faster at traversal or jetpack.. ... just that makes older DLCs seem to take longer..

Always love your let's plays and this was no different. Great to hear all your opinions on the game. I think some of your suggestions would help turn it into the game worthy of the hype that we all hoped it would be. I enjoy starfield but can't help but see how it could potentially be better. Shattered space was interesting but the story wasn't long enough in my opinion, and charging for new trackers alliance quests seems like a middle finger to those of us who liked it enough to continue playing the game.

The things I enjoyed most about Skyrim and Fallout 4 was being able to collect everything and fill my house with weapons and useless junk for decorations. Can you do that here with houses and your ships? Haven't watched too many play throughs.

I imagine using some of the exterior neural amps would help increase your chances of each social skill succeeding when you use them... How does the social system actually work using both neural amps? Is there more of an improvement of effectiveness?

Nope - this DLC should have been major overhaul to the entire systems but instead locked in on single planet for 6 to 10 hour gameplay... says it all really.

They added a vehicle so you can get around planets faster, and performance is better

Haven't played this in months so I decided that I would try and play it again.... However I was reminded why I stopped playing the game to begin with, or at least one of the main reasons I stopped playing it was that it crashed all the time. And I wasn't let down it crashed 10 minutes into the game, won't be playing this game again.🙄😂😂

@@alexmihoc3182 Its an odd comparison because Skyrim and Fallout have 100000x modded content to play. Starfield just does not have that beyond the base game, even a year later. For example we got Fallout London this year and we get Skyblivion comes out next year, those are literally entire new Bethesda based games build on the back of Fallout/Skyrim.

If it wasnt for the mods over the years I probably would've stopped back in PS3 as I did all the DLC etc for Skyrim, but then i got it on PC and modding gave me a few thousand more hours. I wish there was more modding guides and mods in general for Starfield, I made one mod thus far for a custom background. ​@ESOdanny
