When I first started watching your videos I thought “holy crap this girl is cool but also super weird. Is there something mentally wrong with her because I have never met someone who is so happy and so thoughtful in my life. She’s in her own little world.” But I can honestly tell you now after x amount of videos in, I have grown fond of your smile and your laugh and just your overall presence. I hope to gain that much happiness in my life and myself. And I hope that one day someone will look at me and think "something must be wrong with her" because when I thought that about you I had this immense desire to know what was going on in your mind and that led me to my own self exploration and evaluation on my life and my happiness. You got me thinking and I hope I can live a life that gets others to think as well. Thank you for making this channel and keep smiling and laughing! You are so optimistic and I love it!

what a strange comment i find that to be. True presence is written about in many veins, and spiritual practices the world over for centuries. Nothing about it is new. Except perhaps that it is here, for general consumption in this format. Hardly weird, just new to you. Glad your horizons are expanding.

Age truly is just a number... it's incredible to see people of all ages, living their dreams . Some dreams are as simple as enjoying a day in nature. Trying something new. Exploring a new place. Taking the time to spend with those we care about. It truly is about the moments... This past year has reminded us all of that.. less presents ( material possessions) and more presence :)

Hi. I am a lost 20-year-old from Romania. I have been watching your videos for a couple of months now. I have gone through some of the worst and best times since I started watching you. In a way, watching your videos really opened my eyes but also helped me go past really touch things, one being my worst breakup yet. I have always feared being alone/ lonely, and seeing you be so independent and happy makes me feel hopeful. I genuinely can't wait for you to post something, because you inspire me so so much. I would also like to live a life that resembles yours, so in a way I can live my still unfulfilled dream through your videos. I get so inspired when I watch these stories, they really make me want to start filming as well, I just don't feel I could. In the beginning, when I just started watching you I really didn't understand why you would be so ecstatic about the little things, but the more I watch, the more I am intrigued and willing to try out whatever you are doing, just so I can feel, or at least try to feel, that immense happiness that you show us whenever something beautiful happens. And it's working quite well. Although some might say that right now, in this moment of time I am at my objectively worst place in life, I feel the best I have ever felt. I smile for no reason and feel overwhelming joy from the most mundane things, which is so out of character for me, since I am a pessimistic person by nature. I didn't even realize how little I appreciated from this world. So I guess what I am trying to say is: Thank You. Thank you for opening my eyes. Thank you for doing the things you do and inspiring me, and probably so many other people, to see the good in the world, to feel the urge to create art and things that move other people. You really move me. I know that we might never even meet, and you might never get to know me, but I truly feel like you have shifted something in me that no one has ever done before. Thank You. With peace and love, Lilla, a lost 20-year-old.

Beauty is in so many little things in this world. You'll see. And by the way you cannot be really happy until you learn to be happy on your own ! But if you open your eyes and your heart to nature, animals, trees, flowers, stars, ... you'll never be completely alone 😘

@Trish....
@Trish.... 3 жыл бұрын
That was beautiful! And, as a mother of a 23 yr old, I commend you! It's pretty brave to step outside yourself, & realize that everything you need is w/in you! Isn't it amazing? You are your worst critic, but also your greatest advocate, & if YOU don't make the changes you want, they may never happen! Lots of ppl, young & old, live by the wind, letting it carry them, & just roll thru the punches. But, if you carefully plan, & set up your life how just YOU want, that's how you learn to depend on yourself. Figuring this out now will put you miles ahead of many, many ppl of all ages! I taught my daughter that THE #1 thing in life is to seek happiness! Material things can surely make you happy on the outside, but you don't challenge yourself by buying things! Also, being outside in nature is therapy bc it's something every species needs - it provides all kinds of healthy benefits, & it keeps you humble. You realize you're a part of something bigger than you, bc the world is massive. Yes, it can swallow you up, too, which is why I also say to listen to those who have been where you are. Nobody gets thru this life w/o the help of others! Also, learn from others - let their mistakes teach you, too! No one said you have to figure it ALL out by yourself, so we do need ppl. That's why it's also important to be choosy who you let in your inner circle - we need ppl who have our backs, & who we will protect from harm, as well, or just help pick up the pieces when things fall apart. Life is messy, but you've already learned that challenging yourself, like Isabel, is what it's all about, + seeing the beauty in everything! I just wanna give you a big hug bc, at 50, I'm in a different stage of life, while you young ppl have it all ahead of you, & y'all are much wiser than many give your generation credit for♡

One of the best lessons I have learned is from Buddhism. Life is suffering, but accepting that, it’s easier to live in the moment and be mindful. Instead of trying to get “away” from suffering, accepting it and then doing what you can to be present (even in the suffering) is amazing. I love your videos girlfriend, thank you SO MUCH for all that you share. Sending love and light to ya, always.

I feel so grateful to have had that chance when I was young. Learned so much. He showed me how to arc weld after I took gas welding in high school. Learned some of the woodworking. Wish I would have been old enough when he did the house wiring after he built the house to learn some of that though. I was fortunate to have him and family who were so good mechanically where they could do so many things. Mom did all the rigid copper plumbing and he did the cast iron stuff with the oakite and lead. It wasn’t till I was older that I realized everyone’s family wasn’t like that. The biggest gift though is I’ve never been afraid to dig into stuff.

This makes me emotional.. when u said you just ran outside in the snow, I almost started crying.. we live in a society today where people dont even appreciate the little things anymore.. we don’t take advantage of our feelings in the moment.. we don’t take time out the day to ourselves to actually appreciate life, earth, nature, the beauty of world itself.. technology is taking over and I’ve been trying my best to stack my money so I can get away from it all, and your videos motivate me to do do even more. I want a tiny home, somewhere in the forest, by a nice lakefront, tall trees, and full of wildlife.. i want to be in touch with mother earth. I cannot conform to todays “norm” in the digital world. I’d rather be off the grid, just me and my dog, living and enjoying LIFE ❤️

I know she loves those big windows but I think it would be good to have curtains in the windows because someone could easily look and watch. AND also see when she's home and when she is not home. Im glad your father was with you at that time. maybe put trip wires around your property so if anyone walks up to a certain point a bell will ring and you can be more alert. I know animals could trip it but at least you can be ready in case its not an animal, maybe put cameras too. have a couple guns in different places. maybe also have one in the other house too. bear mase I believe can be strong enough to take a person out. maybe have a walkie talkie with a neighbor to alert them if you are in need of someone quickly. Hope all continues to be well. I love your videos. ♥️

Everyone else already covered the egg man concerns so I'll ask a different question. How much of a pain is it to set up the camera, walk away from it for the shot, then have to hike back to get it? I've always wondered that.

Oh my gosh. I wonder that all the time too. I was curious if she ever uses a drone for some of the shots bc it just seems like such a pain to set up the camera, go get on your bike down the hill, ride away, and then have to come all the way back again!
@willow55us
@willow55us 3 жыл бұрын
I've done some video and it is a pain and sometimes you do more than one shot. Drones are sometimes used but now you have to have an FAA license to include the footage in a video. KZbin will take down videos if there is drone footage and there is no record of you having your Part 107 license. Drones used to be fun, now they are over regulated.
