Great video again. I really love that old 290. Looks like that harrow will need a lot of work. 😢

Great video once again 👍 Don’t go to the blue side though 😢 My dads the same when he loads up the dumper, you’ve to stand up to see over the load. Flat out off course 😂 Sheds coming on well, be nice job when it’s finished. Keep them coming 👍

Could you scrap the Harrow if the scrap value helped towards a second hand one, if there's anywhere nearby that sells them ? Great video as always 👍

Excellent video as always, think those disks would suit your 1200 nicely, surely you can get another set for parts and make one good one from the 2.. wonder does the disks use wooden bearings similar to my Ferguson set of disks! Best of luck with them.
@FlyingFergyMan8 ай бұрын
Thanks Stephen, they have metal bearings I think the older ones had wooden ones.

Surely you have an engineering shop close by with a lathe. Those shafts are relatively slow rotating so could easily be built back up with weld and re turned to suit your new bearings
@FlyingFergyMan8 ай бұрын
Hi Keith we do, its just a matter of cost and whether its cheaper to buy a decent second hand one and keep that one for spares.
@keithburke85778 ай бұрын
@FlyingFergyMan I get ya lad. Handy bit of kit and if ya can do it for a reasonable cost then do it, be as good as new and suit the 1200 for work/shows

I love the term "None Massey", 😁 compared to the thing I drive, (I better not mention what I call it other than Cowfarmerdan knows very well !) especially those incompetent Vegan mechanics with a tractor that did 413 Hrs that took 6 visits in 6 months and 1 they didn't fix at 1500 Hrs and still billed my neighbour £2000 for looking at his phone in his works van, a Deere bill for nothing fixed yet !!. I'm glad I'm a Massey fan,😊 as for the disc's, difficult decision ? 🤔 thank for the video always.🙂👍

I wouldn't bother with them worn-out disc as I think they are to small anyway for the 1200 I managed to buy a very nice set of Gregoire Besson XRL year 1995 for £1600 that will be a good match for my 1250 at a working day event and hopefully entertain me and a few spectators 😁

@@FlyingFergyMan I don't know that I'm right it's your tractor and your disc so do what makes you happy mate I looked at a few worn out cheap sets and priced the parts it didn't add up financialy and they were worth very little when done .luckily I found my set that are ideal as they fold up so safe on the road and easy to transport just like towing a trailer they have plenty of life left in them and definitely have a good resale value although there keepers 👍 I will email you a picture
