I feel proud of you like i know you. Young black people with wisdom. The world isn't designed for us to have a good life that we have not prepared for ourselves. Living in a country where you will always be an outsider to a place that feels like home to make your house good idea.👏🏾🙏🏿👍🏿

The axe mother not made out for ground worker... swinging the tool. If he could despatched the banana tree within minutes, he could have despatch the overgrown bushes near the foundation in minutes. You'll need to prepare for long haul before the raining season start.

When you pile blocks on your land for a longtime in the bush, snakes and scorpions turn to make their homes in them, so be careful around especially the kids. Thanks for listening.

Good progress out there. I have a question though , the foundation was it back fill or did you reinforce it with steel given the nature of the soil? Was the foundation dug to rock level? When the house is built and settles will it be affected in anyway? As for the sun sis you have to work early morning and later in the afternoon but not when the sun is overhead at high noon etc.
@bktoafrica9 ай бұрын
Thank you & Yes foundation is at rock level. No the house won’t be affected we’ve taken precautions to prevent any problems or water damage. As for the back fill question, I don’t understand if you could further elaborate. Thank you for the advice when it comes to the heat, will defo take this on board!
@taluj22989 ай бұрын
When you fill the foundation with rock soil or stone after digging it making it tightly compacted to hold the structure.

Hi family, you're doing so so well maybe I missed it but did you put down a dpm to keep out rising damp?
@bktoafrica8 ай бұрын
Hey family, thank you! We missed a step unfortunately but we’ve found a solution that we will show in our next few videos
@mr.afrikaano86729 ай бұрын
I'm happy to you see you working hard. But you can do this better if you will take some ideas. Don't do it yourself, allow professional to do it for you. You have the opportunity to raise some money in England and pay for this job to be done for you very much easier
@bktoafrica9 ай бұрын
Unfortunately we weren’t able to get professional help with the house as no teams were available. The Most High told us to start it ourselves and then help would present itself so we were obedient, and now we have a team helping us! Going back to the Uk just isn’t an option for us

Why have you not laid a dump proof membrane to prevent moisture and mould rising up your walls!! 😮you better lay one on that concrete you just poured! Come on guys!!!
@bktoafrica9 ай бұрын
Yes we’re aware! We used water proofing mix for the concrete and we’ll be putting a waterproof sheet on top of the concrete. Don’t worry Estell we’re on top of it☺️
