Silage took us 12 days in total and this video is of the last day of chopping silage.. We hauled in about 80 loads of silage between our two piles.

Any farm knows you oil chains at the end of day when they are warm

What does that white powder do? I didn’t catch what he said, sorry,

The white powder we put on the silage is a preservative, it helps prevent the silage from rotting. We do not cover our silage with a tarp we chop it and start feeding about 2 months later.
