Great tutorial, thank you for sharing! Im not sure what backing material you are using but I see many using suede as the backing. Suede is expensive, can you use another kind of material for the backing?
@EurekaCrystalBeads8 ай бұрын
Yes, Ultrasuede is the best out there, but you can also use, for example, the cork fabric or our latest arrival - velvet fabric, it is similar to Ultrasuede (similar thickness, softness, it's 2-sided), only it has the added smooth velvety texture, and it's much more affordable. If you go to EurekaCrystalBeads.com and search for "velvet fabric", you'll see the available colors.

I don’t like seeing the thread in the back so o have taken to doing peyote around the back.

Peyote around the back? :O How do you mean? I'm so curious

Interesting!

@@AgaECB I cut the backing just shy of the last row of beads and glue it on. Now just start doing peyote on the last row of beads. Just make sure to hold the beads to the back. I’ll do like two rows of the bigger bead and one of the smaller. It will give the regular bezel look without the headache. The one caveat is that if that last row isn’t connected to the row before it , if you pull too tightly, it can make the beads bend back and expose the backing. So make sure to not bead too tightly so it won’t pull.

@@Oonagh72 I think I can see what you mean. Wow, this is such a creative and original idea, love it, it must look so smooth and nice!
@Oonagh722 жыл бұрын
@@AgaECB it is. I also like it because I don’t have to so precise with the backing because the edge is covered up.
