Oh man this takes me back. in 2009 this girl I knew from some summer camps came and visited me at my university. I had just discovered Fink on a local public radio station and bought the album. When she visited, we listened to this album and drove out to some hot springs in Mona, Utah with my cousin and his girlfriend (now wife). We started falling in love and pretty soon after made things official. 2 years later it ended pretty badly. Even though both of us have completely moved on, just hearing the beginning of this song for the first time in many years kinda stung.
