Sumei Chung pretty much every one of their recorded songs is lit, even their live performances, you should listen too warm shadows also by fink, really good song was in the walking dead series

Yeh. Fink seems to produce songs with a broad frequency range. Open and clear. Was listening to Alligator by Of monsters and men who I also admire for there own unique style but the song came through too compressed and just didn't have the same resolution.

Actually this song is about suicide, the line that you quoted is actually talking about a past girlfriend who walked into the ocean and killed her self, and he's singing about that flow of emotion made him feel how it was like perfect darkness. Still a good song but the main undertone of the song is about dealing with a suicide.

Was watching an old Human Interest episode titled 'Growing up poor - lads' & the very first few secs when this song came up I was sitting right up and Shazamed the name of this track immediately. Fink takes me back to one of the most profound times in my life. I was listening to them all night one night while anxious about a possible life altering event the next day. Fink is from another category of artists. Intimistic, deep, enveloping, it goes deep inside you like "that water". I am amazed that none of the people around me and friends, know them, in general, is semi-unknown, at least in Italy. Unfortunately, the musical ignorance that now reigns, the lack of curiosity towards new genres / groups / artists, is disconcerting. For me, the Finks are indispensable. When I paint especially. How much is lost who does not listen to them.
