the Blues ... once a form of expression resonating from deep within crying Souls ... now adulterated, bastardized and completely overdone and beaten to death by well to do white people who seem to get the "technique" musically, but while managing to side step the pain ... kinda like the new generation and their obsession with comic book characters ... not to discount that this young lady has talent ... I just feel that her voice and heart would be far more effective and impacting if she were to do music that is more emotional and expressive of more universal themes ... "the Blues" is far too limiting of a genre for a woman of this caliber of talent ...

@@thomaswhite7783 You and most "Blues" enthusiasts miss the point .. and just like "the Blues" has become a washed out subjective topic, so is your choice of words to call others .. perhaps if you were to really dig deep into the emotional expression that a lot of great players have put out there like Gary Moore for an example, understand more about what the Blues is all about instead of acting like every little 10-year-old gets a guitar from guitar center can one day miraculously be a blues guitar player .. but then again I know that most of what I have to say will fall on deaf ears that's why I said in my original comments that "the Blues(or rather them modern day version of it [which also includes all that 50 and 60 something guys Les pauls and hot rodded fender DeVilles on their credit cards and went out to open mic jams thinking their blues players,]) .. all that has been washed out and adulterated to the point of ridiculousness .. no sir I think the word you were looking for is not bigotry but moreso jaded or cynical ✌️
