The messy, natural look inside your van is just one more telltale sign you absolutely loved the camping site: you were so consumed by it, and relaxing outside, you just forgot all about tidying the inside. For 'keeping up the appearances' :) But I like this much more than Hyacinth's recidence - you've got room for a pony at that beach :)

Great as usual. I spent a month travelling round Scandinavia a long time ago. I remember doing sauna on a wee island in the middle of a lake in Finland. Also remember never feeling tired because of the almost constant daylight. There was snow on the ground in July inside the arctic circle too. It was a great trip all round. Enjoy.

Hi! I'm from Finland and this Pistohiekka beach is my favourite spot in the country. I'm glad you also loved it 😊 We have a small boat near there, about half an hour boatride from this spot, and it's always the highlight of the summer to go boating in this area. It's also nice to go snorkeling there as the water is amazingly clear.

Lovely Video. Great looking country. Can’t believe you don’t get your hammock out more! I have one on my back porch and have kept one in a pannier on my motorcycle for 15 years or so. My favorite place for a nap is boat put ins at lakes. Nice for a short break even if it’s very hot.

Pretty place, looks like you had it all to yourselves. Love the boys, great travelers aren't they! Mosquitos ! We had those when I lived on the east coast, you got use to them, sort of. However, here in the Mojave Desert in Southern California those buggers are hardly seen unless you go near a lake in the warm weather. We also had lightning bugs, aka fire fly's on the east coast and not out here. I miss those pretty nite bugs that lite up and have wondered where else in the world they live. Stay well and safe. The best way to get rid of mosquitos is to use a vacuum cleaner. It doesnt left signs on walls. Maybe there are portable vacuum cleaners used for automobiles.

i could live like it with good solar and good ac for the hot days and a night heater for the cold nights..thats why its best to carry spares of everything too..like alternator/starter motor/suspension springs and brake pads..things you can stash in hard to get places until ya desperate for them.and spare nighter heater because they are cheap..and change to lithium..could do spain in winter around the coast..back to northern europe in summer.

well I am Finnish, though not from the lake area, but more or less the coastal area my self, though one recomendation I would do is, that if you want to se how different the Finnish nature is, would be to go the coastal route, then in to the lake area and after that to the north and se lapland, the landscape changes quite drasticly, in a way, and how people are also.

Maybe, I'd like to though :-) Finland looking great so far, perfect for the kayak and looks a bit like what I've seen (on youtube) of Algonquin. Best vanlife channel IMO, doing so much more with so much less, patiently waiting for the next upload as we've been busy playing catch-up. Safe Travels and Thumbs Up.
