Was so envious of your roof terrace in the sun during lockdown. We were in a two bed flat with communal gardens. Nice, but couldn't put a paddling pool out. Have since moved to house with a lovely garden, need that outdoor space.

I love that the boys wait to have their feet cleaned before entering the van. So well trained. The winter in Spain, of how I miss it having been doing it before the pandemic for 10 years. I think i need Sarah to come and decorate our flat, it is so beautiful, well done.

The drill got stuck because keyless chuck loosen when reversed, hence when Nick tried to reverse the drill, the chuck loosened and so the drill was left in the wood. A keyed chuck would hold in forward or reverse.

The cups and saucers are Hornsea Pottery which chips easily. I live just outside Hornsea, and remember when the pottery was in its infancy.

Glad you got back to the house and all was OK. It must be a bit of a worry leaving it so long. Memories flooded back when I saw the green Hornsea pottery mugs. They must be from mid 60s. I can remember going to the factory and outlet in Hornsea East Yorkshire. It was quite the thing to have Hornsea pottery, so Bohemian! Have a good mini trip and Happy Christmas.

False ceiling in poss damp area? Option could be to cover the gaps in the timbers with wood coverstrips and show the lot as bare tinber, maybe oiled to bring out the grain and colour. Any further damp incursion would then have little effect and it would breath and dry out. Could always fix the roof even....

No, they can save ££'s by sticking to 'proper' roads. Even if they'd had a lift kit, they'd still be using more fuel and putting unnecessary wear and tear on it by being up and down the gears and on the brakes.
