Honestly brought a tear to my eye.. I once had a dog named Zoey and her favorite place to crap and pee was in front of my door. One time it slipped on it and busted my head. I made her smell it then. I'd do anything to see her once again and take back what I did. I dug her grave when she passed even tho she wasnt actually mine. I visited her almost every day for the next couple weeks asking for forgiveness. I miss her little sounds she'd make when I'd get her hyper or when she plays with my dog Bear. I miss her so much sometimes. The 11th marks the 3rd year she's been gone. I remember being in denial that she was gone I'd place my ear at the ground where she was buried to hear if she was crying for help... It really hurt me for a while. I like to think that she's with my grandmother's husband. He always knew how to get her hyper as heck. I miss him a lot as well. He visits me in my dreams more than anyone. I think I remember Zoey visiting me once in my dreams as well. It's always a blessing but still sad after I wake up.
