Lol. I love my Cheshire Cat. I can’t believe I’ve been collecting all these years and just now got one.

McKenty didn't know a thing about punk. He never was part of the scene, he doesn't know anything about it. That's why he rarely ever covered punk despite him calling himself "punkrock MBA". All he did was reading Wikipedia articles on camera. His channel was worthless.

There is no marketing without something to market. Of course, by the sounds of him, he should be marketing potatoes, not restaurant quality potatoes, the ones that are made into instant mash, thats about his level lmao! I never heard of him but what you told us, really made me angry. I would have been using much more colourful adjectives than you Dawn lol!

I think I get it all out of my system before I record- because Eric and I were shredding him behind the scenes. I just hate it when people are so disrespectful to their supporters.
@yungifone1797Ай бұрын
This is why I don’t vibe with the scene anymore, I just listen to the music. People like this woman make it so hard to feel “accepted” in the scene and have so many “rules” if you wanna be apart of the scene, but then make it sound like everyone else is the problem. Probably why Finn doesn’t wanna be associated with it. No matter what he made great content about bands I enjoy, and at the end of the day he’s a KZbinr. Whether he’s doing it for money or not if you like these bands so much why do you care? Don’t you just wanna learn about them and hear the stories? No wonder there’s such little content on rock and metal music nowadays. Metalheads love to gate keep and act like they’re not. Stop ruining it for everyone else.
@Supreme-MentalmanАй бұрын
I agree with you 100%. The various metal scenes are so toxic I don’t blame him for trolling them all on the way out. The more you grow up the more you realise the ‘alternative’ people are the least genuine and the ‘normal’ people are the most authentic and down to earth.
@ericv7720Ай бұрын
I found Finn's takes lightly amusing at best, and when it came to metal, his knowledge was paper-thin. Good riddance!

I mean, if Finn has just disappeared and said nothing at all, fine. When Finn stopped posting in September, I moved on. But then Finn takes the time to say f*ck you all his viewers, he never respected the scene at all, and he did it all for the money. Like bro, what the f*ck?

I mean he literally gave channels like this content… you should be thanking him for all the traffic to your channel complaining about him. Think you and all the new “experts,” lost the plot in what he did. He ensured that he would never be tempted to return to the space and he gave content creators actual content. If you actually watch the interview you can see he turned heel and is having fun playing the villain.

why does anyone care about this? Is it just to get clicks on their response videos? Of all the things to care about in the world, this ranks really low.

What McKenty did was the antithesis of punk. If you think lying, deceiving and scamming are a part of punk then you most certainly got your knowledge of punk from, well, from McKenty. Who doesn't know a single thing about punk.
