It’s extremely difficult to not spend hundreds of dollars on kids that are 11 and up nowadays. My grandson loves anything that is a device or accessories for his PC. Everything has gotten so expensive, just a few items can be a lot of money. I remember when he was a little guy and how easy it was to buy for him with toys, books, and even clothes. Just the way it is nowadays.

Shop with a cop and the ms society used to help me when my kids were little I didn’t even ask they just did it because I had medical bills for me and my son

Well the generation having kids now have lost some values in my opinions. They don't know what family is because they either came from broken or dysfunctional families so they lean of the internet for help for everything. They are entitled and don't want to put in an honest days, weeks or months worth of work consistently to earn what it takes to support their family, they want it given to them. Post COVID handouts has made it worse. Why work if they can get that and/or that for free? Having multiple kids gets them even more for free, that's always been an issue. Rampant substance abuse hasn't helped anything either and the major holidays make it worse.

I just bought the exact same kit at Hobby Lobby for $6.99. I ran out of white, brown, green and beige yarn. I was able to follow the instructions and even learned a new stitch…popcorn…but only thanks to a the crafty Nana. This is NOT a good kit for beginning crocheters, unless they have a crafty Nana!! LOL I do like the pattern, but made a few minor adjustments. I have been crochet for a couple of years, and I have gotten to the point where I enjoy taking a few risks and deviating from written instructions. It’s just a bit of yarn, after all. Not much in the grand scheme of things. And it’s easy to unravel and do over.

They were talking about the garden district that she did the book signing in someone went the next day and it wasn’t no where to be seen now just bc they don’t have the book out on display that doesn’t mean they don’t have it they could have put it in the back and I also noticed no one went and asked anyone who works there for it either

As a true 'survivor ' I tell you now she is a direct slap in the face. She's no survivor. I don't believe anything She's said about her grandfather.
