are you using the same hook size/ yarn weight that I am? because that may alter the size but adding an extra increase row will make it a little bit too big so you’d add It to the extra rounds so since I did 12, you’d do 13-14 rounds total

Same thing happened to me! Do you think the tension has something to do with it?
@DayannasCreations7 ай бұрын
@alexsandravaladez9527 yes! if your tension is much looser than mine it will come out bigger than mine. I recommend either sizing down the hook size or crocheting tighter on the 7th row, it won’t automatically make a bowl form until the 9 ish row so it’s okay if it still looks like a plate

if your base is curling from rows 1-6 it just means your doing ur stitches too tight so it’s causing it to curve but that’s okay because after you do rows 7-12 it evens out but if it’s still happening then practice your tension to keep a consistent tightess

@DayannasCreations7 ай бұрын
This is a pretty easy pattern to follow so what I suggest is to search up “crochet basics” and learn how to do a chain 4 for a ring since magic rings are a little bit hard to get as a beginner but becomes easier later on. In the video I do a magic ring which is what you need to do to start something, it’s the foundation but you’ll be doing a chain 4 instead which is easier. For this pattern I used single crochets and double crochets so watch videos on how to do those as well to get a hang out it first.

I haven’t even finished the video yet but all I have to say is that this tutorial is so confusing. It’s not beginner or pro friendly in my opinion. Saying stuff like “go here” without actually explaining where here is is so annoying and upsetting. Then at some parts u were like “okay do this 2 more times” instead u should have said “for the second row do a double crotchet in each stitch. You weren’t very clear and you had cut the video so many times that it wasn’t making sense. And the ear and single crochet part was SO confusing. I don’t understand how ppl are saying this is a great tutorial. Definitely needs some work. I like the thought tho and I’m loving my hat so far, but I had to make so many adjustments to the pattern because your tutorial wasn’t clear. So I’m unsure if I even followed your tutorial correctly.
