Thanks for detailed report! I agree, Finnair has a nice long-haul product, often a very good price-quality ratio. And I love the non-Schengen terminal at HEL. I've flown Finnair to BKK several times, also to Phuket and Krabi (axed route). Thailand is an important market for Finnair in winter especially, next winter season they serve BKK 2x daily and Phuket 5x weekly. Luckily the closed RUS airspace effects Finnair's Thailand flights less than some of their other flights to Asia.

Good review. I traveled this month with Finnair in premium economy between Helsinki and Tokyo for the outward and return journey and I was very disappointed especially on the return journey by the quality of the food served, especially the starter, the dessert for the main meal but also by the breakfast for the return flight. Even if the seat was ok, I think that next time I will prefer an Asian company to return to Asia in premium economy

As for the restrooms, they are located at the front and rear of the plane, and depending on the size of the aircraft, there may be additional ones in the middle section. Have a safe travels 🙏

Finnair's direct flight used to be about 8,000 km, but now when you go around Ukraine because of the war, the distance will be 10,000 km.
