Hi, it’s Ian from the forum 😊 Lovely layout there, I’m sure I’ll pick up tips and ideas from you. What paint did you use for the road surface? Nice colour. Ta 😊

Hi Ian! Thanks! It's Railmatch worn tarmac. I have brushed some of it on but it goes a lot further if you can airbrush it on (or thin it down before brushing)

@@finnbroughngauge Great thanks for that. I bought another tarmac paint but it’s too black! It’s a textured paint too and it’s almost too chunky for N Gauge (even thinned down). Yours looks well and I’ll try it with my airbrush 👍🏼 Ian

@@bugler75 you're welcome! I agree any texture in this scale looks wrong. Unless it's a "big" pothole you just wouldn't see much in N gauge really. Hope it works for you!

@@finnbroughngauge For sure, variations in shade like you have is enough 😊👍🏼

@@bugler75 to be honest it's all one colour but I think it's the way it's dried or the way I've thinned it. Looks okay to me though!

… but thats H0 or smaller, … everybody speaks about Problems, jerky run-up, shaky wagons, no scaleconform tracks, wagons and locos are not in quality scale, there are people, who lay tracks in multiple floors, they drive, brake or accelerate too fast, and there are unnaturally much tracks.
