Great video as usual lads.Back in mid 1970,s I can remember a battery exploding,back then we were,nt as clued in as now,Battery charging on floor of workshop,all the caps off,fella working angle grinder nearby.....Bang,I still remember the smell (could have been from the chap using the grinder)

A battery might read lower amps when it’s taken off the charger. When it’s back in the machine and ran a few times the amp reading should come back up. Great episode today 👍

I swear by a gel battery. Never fails to start, especially here in Boston where it gets frigid cold. Truck is a gas (petrol). 6.7L beast.
