Does Kaveh's birthday letter imply that Kaveh and Alhaitham sat down, did a thing together, and ACTUALLY agreed in the end about something? If someone just told me Kaveh and Alhaitham discussed which variety of coffee beans was the best, I'd have expected more on the lines of Kaveh liking one cause the taste gives him inspiration etc. while Alhaitham would pick another type and say something like "objectively, you are wrong. This variety is better because (insert a detailed description of cultivation techniques, origins, brewing techniques and how all that affects the aroma) but it is none of my business if you cannot appreciate finer tastes." And the rest is history.

Funnily enough the are both addicted to coffee. Alhaitham can’t function without it and even in the teapot he’s looking for more. While Kaveh looking for the newest grinder to prefect the brew. So much so there is 1 in the living area and one he’s tinkering with in the study of the house. 😂 So them taste testing a bunch of different blend and beans in the morning amicably to enthusiastically is so amazing to think about.
