@@linguaEpassione I challenge you to take the Clozemaster 10 languages 10 questions each challenge. Pick any 10 languages video yourself taking the challenge and inspire us. (whether you have studied are familiar with or not). This is a fun opportunity to showcase your talent with a little bit of humility proving you too are human and still a language learner. You can put the flags of the 10 languages you choose for the challenge in both the thumbnail and the title and tag the video as #takingtheclozemaster 10 languages challenge. While also tagging the languages of the challenge. When choosing from a diverse variety of languages consider this, to include some of those you're familiar with, those that you are not, and those that you will later learn. Choosing to include a conlang like Interlingua and an ancient language like Latin will keep the challenge diverse while bringing recognition to these languages (you may surprise yourself). Consider getting a hold of Clozemaster they may be interested in sponsoring the video. We as a community of language Learners need a challenge that we can all appreciate and try together. To get the most out of the video challenge adjust the settings as follows: put the skills to listening, the question count to 10, and the mode to multiple choice. Then you can adjust the account to dark mode (as it's more attractive) and the default speed to 75% for better hearing the questions. Doing a dry run will ensure all the settings are correct. Keep a notepad by your side to keep track of the language scores. Before you end the video it would be nice if you encouraged other polyglots and language Learners to take up the challenge. Buenas suerte Carpe Diem السلام عليكم

Suomi 6.0 - Kirjallisuuskieli 🌹🇫🇮 Saavuttuani tälle Tuhansien järvien Suomenmaan paikkakunnalle hämäränpeitoisista syistä minun oli aluksi tarkoitus etsiä itselleni työpaikka markkinointialalta, mutta asiaa aprikoituani päätin, että minun olisi parempi hyväksyä kerran aiemmin minulle annettu asema vientisihteeriksi kansainvälisesti tunnetussa suomalaisessa yhtiössä. Hyvänen aika tekemäni päätös osoittautui myönteiseksi ja on tekenyt minusta henkilökohtaisella tasolla tyytyväisemmän yksilön. Suomi 7.0 - Kapulakieli eli Kelakieli 🤯 Tälle paikkakunnalle ilmaanduttuani yksityisistä syistä minulle annettiin suurin piirtein henkilökohtaista tyytyväisyystasoani edistänyt myöhemmin palkittavaksi osoittautunut työtarjous.

Some pointers. (Disclaimer: His pronunciation and grammar are some of the best I have ever heard for a non-native speaker, this is only to help him even further.) Level 1: “Tulin”, too much emphasis on the first syllable. Check the “O” sound from the word “Olen”. It sounds just a little bit off. Level 2: There is something funky going on with the word “Todella.”, I’m not sure if it’s the vocal “o” again or the “de” combination after that. Also “Työpaikan”, I believe that “i” goes a little bit too much towards “j” sound there. Level 3: Again, “Työpaikkaa”, i goes a bit too j here. “vastaan” has too much emphasis on the first syllable. “Elämäntilanteeseeni”. “ä” sound from the beginning “ElÄ” and “n” in “ElämäN” are not articulated clearly enough. Level 4: Paikkakunnalle, not paikakunnalle. Double consonant here. ”Työtarjouksen”, a rising voice on the second syllable, sounds slightly unnatural here. “Henkilökohtaista”,Too much enunciation on the second ”h” sound in syllable “koh”. “Tyytyväisyyttäni”, something is going on the syllable “väi”. It might be the “v” or the following “ä”. Remember that “v” is a semivocal in Finnish and should not be pronounced too clearly. Level 5: “Tälle”, “e” sound is not correct. Also again “Paikkakunnalle”. A rising voice on ”aikomuksissa” sounds unnatural here. ”Mahdollisuuden”, check your double “ll” there, also that your “a” sound is back enough. Also, too much emphasis on the first syllable, it makes “h” sound too loud. “Tyytyväisyyteni”  Rising voice on “syyteni” sounds strange. “Tasoa”, you aspirate “T” here. It sounds like “Thasoa”.

Hi Stefano! Wow, excellent examples! You master Finnish very well. As a native Finn, I'm really impressed! Here are some Finnish “tongue twisters”, that even some native Finns find difficult. 1) As far as I know, the longest Finnish word: “Epäjärjestelmällistyttämättömyydellänsäkään”. 2) Yksikseskös yskiskelet, itsekseskös itkeskelet? Take a challenge!

Hah! Level five cracked me up. I deal with academic Finnish on regular basis and that is very much how someone would write trying to cram as much information as possible in one sentence. While it sounds silly in casual context, I think it can really work in the right place as being able to tie related information together without having to break it apart is nice. In moderation that is. 😅 Great work! I suppose level zero would be something like "Tulin, työllistyin, oon jees."

My level is about 3. I acquired this knowledge in my old language-learning phase, many years ago, before the Internet came. After finishing a course with an accompanying cassette and studying a couple of phrase-books, I was at a loss. I didn't know how to continue. Finnish newspapers were available at the kiosk, but they were incomprehensible for me at my level. I was able to find some paperback books in the flee-market area of my city, but they were also too hard. Then I considered using the parallel-text method, which had worked for me with Hungarian before. So, I searched for the original books in English. Finally, I was able to find one. It was a detective story. For the next few months I held the Finnish book in my left hand and the English original in my right hand, reading both of them simultaneously. When I finished I was equally ignorant as I was when I started. Then I thought that one of these two things happened: either my brain was full of languages and there was no place for more, or Finnish was much harder than Hungarian. It turned out that the latter was true. Now, in my new language-learning phase, I study several languages simultaneously. My goal is to be able to PASSIVELY understand as many languages as I can before I die. Unfortunately, these languages do NOT include Finnish. I rejected it for 2 reasons: 1. Diglossia. Even if I manage to learn the formal language, still, I won't be able to understand colloquial language. You see, most KZbin videos are in colloquial Finnish and they'll be out of reach for me. 2. I don't like the way Finnish people talk. They speak in a monotonous voice, they don't use their hands to express themselves. I prefer to watch videos in languages where speakers change the tone of their voice according to the context and gesticulate a lot. I mention videos because I don't plan to travel to Finland to talk to real people either. In conclusion, I' ll probably die without speaking or understanding Finnish at a decent level. 😁

Meglep, hogy a finnt nehezebbnek találtad a magyarnál. Ezek szerint magyarul jól beszélsz. Gratulálok! Üdvözöllek Magyarországról!
@theatisgr
@theatisgr 4 ай бұрын
@@katalinfejer9442 Üdvözlet Görögországból. Valóban. A magyar nyelv számomra könnyebb, mint a finn nyelv. Ennek ellenére van két pont, ahol nehezebb a magyar nyelv: 1. Kiejtés 2. Szintaxis. A finn nyelvet meglehetősen könnyű kiejteni, és szintaxisa hasonló a legtöbb európai nyelv szintaxisához, de van néhány más kemény tulajdonsága, amelyek ezt a könnyűséget ellensúlyozzák: 1. Szabálytalan nyelvtan 2. Diglosszia 3. A szókincs nehezen megjegyezhető, főleg a hasonló szavak miatt.

‼️Translation below 👇 Jos tarkoitat, ettet pystyisi muodostamaan tasoa kolme parempia lauseita, suosittelen sinua katsomaan verkosta niissä käytettyjä rakenteita, sillä se voi parantaa kirjoittamistasi huomattavasti. Se ei myöskään vaadi paljoa vaivaa, sillä taidat ne jo luonnostaan. Jos sanavarastosi aiheuttaa hankaluutesi, kannattaa lukea! Se on tehokas ja hauska tapa parantaa sanastoaan (ja älykkyytään, myös). Tosin, jos et ole vielä kahdeksannella luokalla, ei ole syytä huoleen sillä itsekin opin nämä vasta vuosi sitten kahdeksannella luokalla. Translation: Should you be indicating that your aptitude for the formulation of linguistic expressions surpassing the trinary level remains elusive, I proffer the suggestion that you undertake a brief foray into the boundless realm of online resources dedicated to the elucidation of the intricacies and nuances inherent in grammatical constructs, for such a venture possesses the potential to significantly enhance the quality of your written discourse, demanding a modicum of effort commensurate with your innate familiarity with these linguistic paradigms. In the event that your linguistic impediments stem from a paucity of lexical dexterity, I posit that the act of perusing literature, a pursuit both edifying and enjoyable, may serve as a efficacious means to augment your lexical prowess, thereby bolstering not only your verbiage but also the profundity of your intellectual acumen. However, should you find yourself yet to attain the august status of an eighth-grade student, I urge you to refrain from undue anxiety, as I myself, a mere twelve months hence, embarked upon the acquisition of these very skills at the same academic juncture.

The fifth one was funny. You said it is unlikely to hear any Finn to talk this way, but that is not exactly true, because it is this type of speech you typically hear from bureaucrats and politicians. We have one director who is kind of both, and this is the way he always speaks. But he is not the only one. I am working in the governmental agency, and you can hear this type of language quite often. There are other uses of this kind of language like ceremonial occasions or academic texts as well.
