I’m only studying colloquial which means I can’t read books 😅. I also have a hard time memorizing vocabulary, same thing with Chinese. Russian is easier because it’s related to European languages

As a Chinese and English learner I can confirm he forgot to talk about the most hardest thing about Chinese, which is writing. Reading and writing are totally different compared to English. So IMO English is easier than Chinese
