there is a live version of this song where Shiren (Main Guitar) was unable to play....and Jill (Violinist) plays the whole solo section...its mind blowing....

Technical Melodic Speedmetal is what they describe themselves as, but you can throw Neoclassic somewhere in between there, as they definitely use a lot of elements or even references to classical music. Personally I like the live version better for this song because the violin does part of the solo section and it sounds so good. A song I like to recommend is Angreifer live, theres some beautiful guitar/violin harmonies there.

The band refers to themselves as a Technical Melodic Speed metal band. Ah Teemu, you have discovered another of my favorite Japanese Bands! Unlucky Morpheus ('real' name, Ankimo) was formed by Fuki (vocals) and Shiren (growls, guitar) in 2008 as an Anime song cover band. They added members over the years - last was Jill (violin) in 2016 - by that time they were writing their own music. In Tower of the Blood there is a violin intro and there are violin/guitar call and response solos kzbin.info/www/bejne/l4bLm2mbfb2blck . Great reaction my friend! I would highly recommend reacting to Black Pentagram live version with a violin solo! Also Angreifer, and Cadaver-Revadac (revadac is cadaver with the same notes played backwards!) Anything UM is purely Amazing! Another band to try is Galneryus Angel of Salvation, the live version is almost 17 minutes!

Yeah, I took a look at the live version of this song slightly after uploading the video. I'd say the violin solo was really impressive! I currently consider reacting to their version of Euruption which seems to be really interesting on the idea level.

Something fun, Kinda. Unlucky Morpheus - (Jill) - Van Halen "Eruption" cover (violin). Jill graduated at the top of class from the Tokyo School of Arts, She is the only violin shredder I know of!!!

Unlucky Morpheus is a great and favorite band. But in Japan, there is a band called Bandmaid that fits your heart. This is a band whose live performances are more impressive than music videos. Try band maid.
