@@JayJayFilmboxGood point. The main Urheiluruutu's length varies: 5 mins on Mon-Tue, 10 mins on Wed-Fri, 20 mins on Saturdays and 15 mins on Sundays. There's also a 4-minute late broadcast on weekday nights.

Finally you back after long time Talking about content: - Why Yle produce own Oddasat on a own studio when Yle also produce Oddasat but collaboration with NRK and SVT with NRK studio? - Finland have news in sign language, simple language, neighbour country (Swedish and Russian), meanwhile Sweden also have news in sign language, simple language, and neighbour country (Suomi/Finland). - The intro of Yle News (ribbon intro) is good, but i think its time to updating this intro. Also i prefer old studio with triangle desk. Next, how about uploading Poland or Denmark

Also, have you noticed that, in comparison to other YLE news intros, the YLE TV-Nytt's intro shows a thin red line instead of a thin green one when the title appears? It is a nod to previous intros of TV-Nytt which featured a red square.

yle (yleisradio) literally translates to general radio the reason for that is because believe it or not finnish tv broadcasting started in 1955 and yle was founded way back 1926 see because tv was not a thing in finland the only thing we had was radio apart from teathers ofcourse but you get what i mean tv wasnt there and yle was a radio company but when tv was introduced in finland in 1955 we started broadcast tv programs but we forgot to change the name to general broadcasting company instead of general radio you see now why its called general radio (yleisradio) in finnish

The network is divided to ten (pan-)regions - namely Greater Helsinki, Southwestern, Southeastern, Tampere Province, Tavastia, Ostrobothnia, Central, Eastern, Oulu Province and Lapland - though all regional content is actually taped at TV2 (!) headquarters in Tampere. Their own news output was replaced by semi-notorious tabloid-branded 5 min bulletins (IS Uutiset) on weekdays just to comply with regulations - not long ago this year Nelonen managed to get rid of the "must broadcast news & current affairs" rule in their broadcast license. So no news on Nelonen anymore. None whatsoever.
