Thank you, Anna, for another wonderful reaction and analysis video! It makes me feel all warm inside to see and hear you enjoying this so enthusiastically! This track is a real journey. For me, I started out thinking "I didn't know Ronnie liked to rap. I wonder if he can *really* rap." Well, when he jumped out of the exploding plane and started hitting us with the quaver-triplets, I was convinced. And then, a couple of sections later, he takes it to another level again! And then it goes metal, and that breakdown was a killer. Thinking about harsh vocal techniques, I'm going to assume you're aware of the video that Elizabeth at The Charismatic Voice made with Will Ramos having a laryngoscopy. I can't remember if you did a reaction video to that one, though, so I'll have to search for it once I've posted this comment. There's so much amazing music coming out at the moment. There's Ren going viral with his incredibly raw, personal and relatable songs; Melissa Bonny's band Ad Infinitum just released their new album today; Ronnie and Falling In Reverse have been making absolute epics like this one; Floor Jansen just released her debut solo album. And so on. It's hard to keep track of it all.

His versatility is off the wall. And that transition really catches you off guard, going from rap to Bohemian Rapsody sang by a choir of undead nuns into rock. Many bands mix genres but none do it this way. And just a little note, those thundering drums in the heavy part give me goosebumps everytime, Luke Holand's addition to the line up was a stroke of genius, he brings such versatility to the drums as well, but when it gets heavy nobody does it like Luke. Great reaction as always Anna.

Building a small utility trailer for my friend Larry, then onto building a single axle hydraulic dump trailer for myself. After that two more small utility trailers, then adding a 3rd axle to a big flatbed equipment trailer I built 30 years ago. Hope all is well! Miss seeing your face! A week is far too long between videos! ;)

as a screaming hobbyist, the first "the fear is what keeps you alive" is full on false chord with a vocal tract shaped like trying to hit a bass noice (round, dark, whatever the technical terms are), then it gets progressively more "fried" (you can distinctly hear fry in "inside") break the fucking chain comes closer to what i'd call goblin scream, which would basically be a mix of mix voice and fry, and then it ends litterally with what i would call a high fry + hearing the uvula vibrating (that's how i feel it anyway, it could also be something on the secretions in the mouth idfk)

FYI: for some reason the audio track is out of sync by 11 seconds when played through my Roku on my TV, but thankfully seems to be correct when I watch on my phone. Never seen it happen before on any other media, and I restarted my entire home theater just to be sure. Maybe it's a newer codec or something?

You mentioned wanting to know more about extreme vocals and I think I know the perfect video! Have you seen the laryngoscopy of Will Ramos' throat by The Charismatic Voice?! It's SO cool and shows his throat doing the heavy lifting! I highly recommend Lorna Shore (his band) if you want more vocals like that, but it's REALLY extreme, so I'm not too sure you'd be into it.
