In my 6 years of cutting trees I have come across, star pickets, barb wire, concrete fence posts with a date of 1914 on them. Nothing surprises me, after that.Cost me a lotta money for chains and bars,not to mention when a very old Macrokapa tree exploded, when I was only 6 inches into it,and shattered my new chainsaw. 1800 dollars worth. Loved every day of it.

METAL! 😖 I removed several large trees for a friend in exchange for the firewood. Knowing they were "yard" trees, I was cautious cutting. Once I got it all back to my wood pile and started splitting, I found: clothesline hooks/cable, fence wire, "J" hooks, eye hooks, lag bolts, several spikes/nails, and even part of a dog chain...turned out, I missed every single piece with the saw! Whew! 🤞 Lucky couple of days! Now we see why saw mills do not like to process "yard trees". Lol

You did well to get through that steel and only destroy one chain! You see tree fellers have to double up on wedges fairly often, and on the rare occasion triple them as you did, but you never see anyone just carrying a couple of double thickness wedges. I wonder this because when stacked, they always seem to slip against each other.

Gotta love them dead ones! I took down a heavy leaner the other week with three comalongs, didn't notice till I went down to it that I was accually uprooting it, but got it to fall opposite of the lean. Got one more heavy leaner but it's cracked right up the middle, wouldn't have seen it but I cleaned the bark off and low behold an eight foot crack going right up it. So fun! Just don't want to pinch my saw on this one. Going to stay away from the crack best I can and use twice as many straps around the trunk this time. Two ash trees down and three to go! They can be so fun when they are dead!

как раз для этого дерева, шина берется с запасом - (длинна шины = 0.75 * диаметр дерева) - тут можно и 21 дюймовой , но будет впритык с двух сторон пропила, а так - перехлест при встрече двух пропилов с противоположных сторон

@@ДмитрийЦарев-ч5ш это же европеец - там у него видео есть - бензопилы разые даже одноручка есть и с разными мощностями на любые диаметры, а у нас в беларуси на делянках лесосеки хватает 38-50 см шины за глаза, а вот для тех кто арборист и вальщик по деревням работает - так надо иметь и метровую шину: клены, дубы, ольха и тд иногда тооолстые бывают - с рост человека диаметром

les charnières sont 2 fois trop larges et ces coins en nylon de merde,rien ne vaut un coin en alu, 2 coins en fer et au besoin faire un coin avec le bois sur place! Fallait s'y attendre à de la ferraile dans le tronc (fendu)
