Putting the Billie Eilish song on here, especially at number one, is kinda hilarious to me. There are so many worse songs that could be put in that spot. The song is solid and it is literally Billie Eilish doing her version of Bond song. It seems like the author of the article just doesn't like her sound and decided that the song was bad because of that.
@crazydud33802 жыл бұрын
Yeah, that was weird. It isn't great, but it certainly isn't bad either. Lists like these usually put something people have heard of at number one, because that controversy gets people talking and generates more clicks. Some random crap nobody cares about at number one would be more accurate, but would not get nearly as much attention. Always look at everything in these lists EXCEPT for number. Just consider 2 to be the true number one.

Yeah someone at Spin was definitely trying to increase the brand's edgy factor by not only including a popular Billie song, but making it #1. If they are indeed trying to reinvent themselves this is a strange place to start. Writing controversial things for the sake of being controversial is kind of the norm in 2022, not innovation. Hopefully Spin gets a little more creative in this transition.
