Villa then bought Emi Martinez who got selected for Argentina because of his heroics for Aston Villa. This is incorrect, the year that the goal we scored against Aston Villa that wasn't given was the 19/20 season, it was actually the first game back after COVID and the season restarted. That season we finished mid table. It was actually Bournemouth that got relegated because of this goal not being given, they threatened to sue the goal line technology team. This is the only reason Aston Villa are in the position they are now and Bournemouth are struggling. The year after is when we were relegated in 20/21
