It’s amazing how you found rare species just right in front of your pleace! The way you captured them and your underwater filming is really stunning. For most people who don’t see this all the time, it really is different world down there and very colourful. Love this vlog with your very informative narration.😊

i have been following u finfin since u started ur blog, personally I think you are one of the most interesting, informative, & wonderful person amongst the bloggers….I am in my early seventees but if i remember it correctly Dauin. Apo Island is where the international scuba competition was held…many moons ago & by the way, I grew up in the Dumaguete
@milan.almagro39003 жыл бұрын
I was going to add that I moved to the u.s. in my late tweenties but i kept coming back every year to dgte & happen to met some foreigner divers that told me they were discouraged to dive in apo island coz most of the corals died or destroyed by the constant typhoons & etc & of course the diverse creatures along with it but bouy u have proven them wrong…right at the moment i am enjoying & appreciating it so much…for the longest time I’ve subscribed to the National Geographic magazine but now i have switched to your wonderful channel…though, I still read the Nat’l Geo

Wow! That shot of the candy crab! 😍 and the pink color! Imagine this, if in every dive you see something different, every time I watch your vlog, I learn something new!! I think it’s cool that you’re to contact the book author to correct that specific nudibranch exclusively found in Indonesia that it’s also found in the Philippines. Thanks for being an advocate for the country. You’re a cool guy Finn!

The halgerda nudibranch you showed is the same species I sent you a picture on. I call them "shape shifters" because they are continually changing their shape to confront any threat with their strangest stinging cells. I was surprised that they say this species was discovered in the 1990's because back in 2009 when I discovered it near San Remigio Cebu, they said it was a new species.
