Fin, just keep on monitoring weather updates prior to each trip especially on december because its a month where mostly storm comes in the philippines. Just to keep everyone on the ship safe everytime you travel. I suggest on western pacific weather on youtube for almost everyday update on philippine weather by robert speta. CONGRATULATIONS sir Chris and Finn!!..this is so inspiring and truly appreciating the reason for this accommodation… the “explorers and adventurous” will experience the Philippines sea wonders..and the locals will have more pride of what countless wonders, beauties and sea creature treasures (critters) the islands tou will explore will be in your stories… suggestion…and please consider very much radio communication…main deck…in the bedrooms (if locked in for a reason in case unwelcome seafarers crashes in your trips)…have a solid direct communication to alert or get in touch with the local Police if in the area… pirates is a reality….not only Filipinos but China etc have small “fishing” boats but powerful in machinery… have a “protocol” to include your guests in cases of unexpected and unwelcome seafarers get on aboard…..stuff like that…(so if the rooms are locked so these people can not go in..the rooms have a radio..or something like that)… you seem to have thought of everything in safety on the boat…and its amazing… but equally…as important imo..and if i were to be the guest.. the clarity of the “mayday” and its efficiency…is a great feature to year team and elevates the brand (“Gypsy”)… and…btw…the the fact that SU Marine Biology is a world class Department…they made a big deal of giant clams ..and its you and the critters friend of yours…that “discovered” the little beauties of the Negros seas… consider taking studies with SU Marine Biology…you will legitimize your interests and authority in speaking about these…(an educated talent is a bar higher than just with some talent)… this sounds a long shot..but you are there already…..and SU will stamp a seal on you that you are indeed “taga-Negros gyud”
