At Mark, 46:08 For me, Wingspan has always been about nurturing a deep appreciation for birds and nature more broadly. Finspan will likely do more or less the same for me, just underwater. I think that this appreciation for animals is a solid first step in raising awareness for environmental impacts of human behavior.

@Jamie Coelacanth (see-luh-canth). If you are certain age (my age) it was huge back in elementary school, as it was discovered to still be alive off the coast of Madagascar. It's a "living fossil", a fish that has remained virtually the same for millions of years. It's a lobed fish, with fleshy fins instead of rays like most modern fish. Amazing! WTB in Finspan! :D

Definitely excited for this one. I think it’ll be great for family game night with new gamers and younger kids. We love Wingspan but getting new people into can be a challenge. Normally the art work still wins them over even if they don’t fully understand the game.

So cool. I love Wyrmspan so much and recently I taught Wingspan and was reminded why I like it so much, as well. I’m fully on board for Finspan. My only question is: Hobbitspan? :)

Sounds exciting! If you haven't already you should take a look at the book Remarkably Bright Creatures ....chapters written from viewpoint of a pacific Octopus

I just finished reading it last week--it's amazing! I also recommend the documentary My Octopus Teacher.

There goes my plan to design a game called bird span involving designing bridges for birds to sit on or nest in

are there ways to recover fish cards from other player's discard piles? what kind of player interaction is there?
@jameystegmaier5 сағат бұрын
This is a low-interaction game, with the primary form being positive interaction through cards/abilities that benefit all players. You cannot steal cards from other players--that's not in the spirit of the World of Wingspan.
