As far as the construction of these offices are concerned its still a long way to go but anyways something is better than nothing. One thing really dissapoints that the median on the road is littered with construction waste and other trash. Road beautification and road marking is absolutely not up to the international standard as well as landscape around these offices should be beautified parallely.

Progress is slow. 2025 e fully operational howar kotha Fintech Hub er. This is Feb 2024 and onek land e kaj e suru hoyni ekhono. Secondly, many Banks are shifting their zonal/regional offices from other parts of Kolkata to Fintech Hub so it's not actually new investment/development. Thirdly, Fintech Hub e Fintech companies e toh nei. Banks are fine but atleast Phonepe, Razorpay, Airtel Payments Bank, PayU, Zerodha etc toh asha uchit. Kolkatar current situation e Visa, Paypal or Foreign investment banks asbena for sure. But atleast Authorities should try for Indian Fintech companies. This is actually disappointing 😢

Baki infosys r koto khorcha hochhe and if in anyway they are considering this as a benifit, they knows. And Bengal e jei bhabe dhorna, aaj ei dhorna kal sei nandan abhijan porshu sei, its tough for any companies to come in. Why pointing finger at govt only! Every political party present in the state is equally responsible for Bengal's loss. Even teacher's andolan is a factor. These things does have impact on Bengal's business. Two HO/S of UBI and Allahabad Bank have already said Ta Ta. Now Kolkata is satisfied with the seeds of those HO/S. Both Delhi and Chennai have taken out the fruits.Attempt taken by GIFT city is well advanced in comparison with Kolkata. Recently the subsidy office of IREDA being shifted to GIFT city. Aviation hub, Worlds largest Green Energy plant is going to install over there. And so many industries is coming up. In comparison Kolkata is good for Political Hub including the hub of Chop and Muri baza industries. Moreover the agenda of political bias in day to day activities is creating fear and confusion among the investors which no doubt is isolating Kolkata from Top three Mega cities to bottom. Recent reports have shown that even Cochin Airport is operating more now of Airline than Kolkata. It’s now the 6th busiest airport in the country. What a shame !! No International flights are interested to to operate from Kolkata. Starting from morning to night , we are well being accustomed with the word cut money or otherwise words and rubbish unfruitful politics. It’s really hurts when I see that all the states except Bengal is moving fast in industrialisation including education, medical, aviation, etc etc. If we still do not involve ourselves in developing our City of Joy Kolkata including West Bengal , all our efforts in establishing the old glorious reputation including the great Slogan WHAT BENAL THINKS TODAY ,INDIA THINKS TOMORROW will run into ASHTRAY.

Back then Kolkata was the capital of India, then Bengal saw the great Bengal famine, after then Bengal had to go through the partition and infestation of lakhs of refugees , then the fall of the main industry of West Bengal that is the jute industry. Then some bad policies of the previous government, though they were doing good at their last term. Now at least Kolkata is trying to kick start again, which is a good thing.

WB was one of the most Favourite Hand Picked destinations of PSU companies from 1960s to 1980s after Nationalization of Private Entities from Steel to Bulbs from Optical lenses to Photography reels . You enjoyed the PSU era . Whatever you see in other states particularly in GJ , West UP , Haryana , Karnataka , Telangana all of them Developed rapidly after 1991 liberalisation . Accept the fact that WB didn't evolve post LPG 1991 reforms as many states did . You are late Jute is expensive it's a luxury item compared to Plastics . Improve per capita to support viability of Jute Production and business . Maharashtra has the highest number of Cotton Production in India but don't cry because of TamilNadu and Gujarat Textile Giants . It Exports Cotton to Bangladesh . I am from Kolkata and till now I've worked in Pune, Mumbai, and Gurgaon (currently). Kolkata is nowhere near to those cities in terms of the speed of the development needed for the infrastructure. For example, I can tell you that within 2 years DLF Downtown became operational in Gurgaon and the building is just full of glamour. Also, there is no MNCs and due to that people like us have no option of coming back home. Really sad ...

No international banks or stock exchanges r coming here, only small scale indian banks, it sucks fr, GIFT CITY is boutta have bank of america and all, it will be the financial hub of india, it's really disgraceful how new upcoming cities r overtaking Kolkata everyday so easily, first banglore, then Hyderabad, then gurgaon, then Noida and now gift city, the growth of Kolkata is stagnant, even in the silicon valley hub, no offices google, Microsoft, amazon or facebook is going to be opened🤷🏻‍♂️
