Joining us this week is Manabesh Kar an investment banking professional managing options and structured fixed income derivative portfolios for various banks whilst providing enhanced risk/return solutions to clients over his career, primarily focussing on foreign exchange markets. He has 16 years of work experience in investment banks such as BNP Paribas, Morgan Stanley and Bank of New York. With a background in engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, Manabesh also holds both the FRM ( Financial Risk Manager) and CFA ( Chartered Financial Analyst) designations. He has been quite passionate about new technologies and studied Machine learning in MIT back in 2017 when it rapidly gained worldwide use cases. Manabesh believes that we are in an exponential age relating to cryptocurrencies and is passionate to build and work on new ideas in this space. He is an avid writer on various topics that interest him and has recently been enjoying blogging on Medium.
