I truly believe this woman's talent is pure magic. Who else can write down their feelings and push air through their vocal chords and make those who are listening feel the same thing she is? I have cried to her music so many times. She is a goddess.

I saw Fiona a few years ago in Milwaukee, she is so beautiful, and a beautiful voice. Yet she has this sweet insecure presence, which made me love her even more. I doubt she has any idea how loved she is.

I believe this to be true also ... I don't think she realizes how much people love her and her beautiful work ...this version on " I know " is gorgeous ! I truly believe that we wont have to wait 7 years for another album ...i hope not anyway ...WE LOVE U MS. APPLE 🍎

Her voice is so skilled, and she so emotionally intense. It's like watching a film or studying a photograph. This song reminds me of Paris for some reason. I wish she would make another album. I don't think I could fall anymore in love with her music.

It's really hard to define how she may be one of the greatest artists out there. It's subtle, but obvious, that she is deeper and more connected to her music than anyone I've ever seen. Plus she is beautiful in ALL ways, and one of the sweetest girls in the whole world. And short. Ha!

I don't know about you guys listening with me here,... but the way this song is so deftly written and performed, with the absolutely heart-wrenching prose capitulation to him; "it's ok.... don't need to say it....." and the attendant pregnant pause that leads to the silent empty end of this romance is perhaps the most sorrowful thing we as humans can consider as songwriting. If you agree, thumbs me up. I wanna "know" :)

Yeah definitely. It seems as though her and this anonymous man have a tacit understanding of their relationship, but he seems to be got up with another woman as well. So be it, I'm your crowbar If that's what I am, so far Until you get out of this mess And I will pretend that I don't know of your sins Until you are ready to confess But all the time, all the time I'll know, I'll know And you can use my skin to bury secrets in And I will settle you down And at my own suggestion I will ask no questions While I do my thing in the background But all the time, all the time I'll know, I'll know Baby, I can't help you out While she's still around So for the time being, I'm being patient And amidst this bitterness If you'll just consider this Even if it don't make sense all the time Give it time And when the crowd becomes your burden And you've early closed your curtains I'll wait by the backstage door While you try to find the lines to speak your mind And pry it open, hoping for an encore And if it gets too late for me to wait For you to find you love me, and tell me so It's okay Don't need to say it

Amazing. I've known and loved her music, her albums, for quite some time, but just now, after seeing her cover Costello's "I Want You" have I began to search for live performances, and she's always so intense, it's as if she were emotionally transported into the very heart and essence of the songs, even if they aren't hers, it's breathtaking. It's been a while since her last cd, does anyone know what she's up to? Has she given music up for good? Does she still perform or has she quited?

This is her masterpiece, of course imo. The studio version is beautiful, as well. I'm 61 and grew up with my favorites being: Neil Young, John Lennon & George Harrison (solo phases), Joe Walsh, Elton John, Traffic, Yes, Lou Reed, Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, Steely Dan, David Bowie, Mott the Hoople, Carly Simon, James Taylor, Todd Rundgren, America. But I have many new favorites like Fiona, Garbage, Radiohead, Beck. This song is in my Top 10, believe it or not. She's in legendary company, too.
