The concept of the video “him reading what she wrote about him and their relationship “ and mocking her and being upset even though knowing it’s her truth is so brilliant and gives a whole other level to the song. Bravo 👏 how music videos should be

Unfortunately, I think he's right. Whenever I mention Fiona in the UK, even to 30+s with a good musical knowledge I often get a blank look, which is shocking. But one album every seven years and virtually zero touring (especially outside of the U.S.) aren't going to keep you in the public eye. I doubt Fiona cares, but it's a shame all the same. Her work demands much wider recognition but you have to 'work' for it.

9 months later and ... still can't. One variable I can count on that doesn't change. HOW COOL IS THAT??!!

has fiona ever explained how this song came about? the writing process i mean, was it one of those that just fell out of the sky? was it one that had been in the works for years? it's such a brilliant tune, the vocal melody and the musical riffage are so different but so perfect.

Love it. It's like a mirror looking back on all those moments of letting go that should have let you know it was over.
