Yay! So happy you did this collab with the beautiful Fiona, from sLOVEnia. I was extremely lucky to become a good friend of hers, and Fiona painted me a special yellow flower for my cat who passed away at the age of 22 from old age, named Fatcat. I buried him in our garden and planted a rose bush that produced the most beautiful yellow rose I had ever seen. Fiona and I bonded over our sorely missed cats and also our love of animals. The painting was named, of course, Fatcats Rose and she was extremely kind enough to send it to me, with an extra one, which now hang proudly in my home. Just, yet another story of how awesome Fiona is! Lee, you did a fantastic job with your flower, especially for your first go! Beautiful cells! Just gorgeous! ❤🌺 Jeremy, your flutterby is amazing, simply beautiful ❤🦋you also, did an amazing job! So much fun today, with Santa's letters to everyone, Fionas live and then this one! Lee, your flower was excellent. So brave of you both to show your failed attempts too. Jeremy, your butterfly was amazing for a first attempt and it looks as if you may have a real talent here. Lee, I literally clapped for you and Jeremy your butterfly was flatteringly beautiful! I think. both fo you did a marvelous job in pulling off Fiona's work very well. That chain pull looks like you have to use such a small amount of paint and start off with must be pretty thin, it would just have to be. Honestly you guys did a phenomenal job!

You are right. For the butterfly its a mix of just the right amount of paint, at the right consistency with a base that is thin enough to slide but thick enough to make a difference. Its a very technical technique but as always, a lot of fun!! :-)

I also have gone to the paint drops instead of a line of paint. Its easier to draw out the outline. Both of yours are great, as usual.
