Royalty on the Dream's Return to Sailing

For our sea day it was one spent with pure Disney royalty! First a stop at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique before the Royal Court Royal Tea Party at the Royal Palace. Hey - I said it was Royal!! Come along with us, pinkies up!

Fun Fact: Cinderella, Belle and Tiana are the only Disney Princesses to wear opera gloves and marry into their princess roles.

What is this? Why are costumed characters wearing masks? Jimmy Lynett, what are you doing as cruise director here? Characters should not be wearing masks at all. Are: -Vaccine requirements for all ship occupants -Temperature checks of all ship occupants, followed by daily temperature checks of all crew -Masks for non-costume crew members -Daily sanitation Not enough? People visit Disney for their magic, which is comprised of consistency and brilliant attention to detail. It feels so disappointing to see the Disney experience extinguished like this. Walt Disney paid attention to the smallest details, even the manhole covers at the park, but such a glaring unnecessary oversight like a costumed character's vital features being compromised is a sign that things need to change. I would never visit, nor recommend a visit to Disney Cruises in this fractured state. Masks for ALL costumed character need to go. They are but one of many different solutions and it is saddening as a Disney admirer to see the cruise line in such a magic-compromised state.

You spoke like the AVGN, except you need to add a bit of cursing. You’re right. Any characters that wears a mask make themselves look unfriendly and dystopian.

Thank you so much for sharing!🥰 I have twin seven year old girls and a ten year old son!😊 Our Disney Dream Cruise leaves this Thursday! We cannot wait! I wasn't able to snag an appointment in time for the Bibidi Bopidi Boutique!😪 Did you notice anyone being squeezed in as a walk in? It would be the cherry on top of our cruise experience!🤞🏽 The tea time experience looked amazing! I'll try to save that experience with my girls on the next one!(paying for two at a time gets expensive!).

I wasn't sure how it would be compared to the first - but in the end I think I liked this new version better! I wish we could have had the nice photo with the princesses, but still the interaction felt better this time and I liked the private tables versus sharing with 4 other groups.

@@tubetop123 The boutique and tea party are separate. The boutique cost definitely ranges depending on the package you get. And then the tea party... yeah, that's a speedy one! I think it was $220 for the children and $69 for adults. They get a lot of gifts with their admission whereas we adults just pretty much get the food and fun of it all. We have done it twice, once before the pandemic and then this one. They ended up different from each other because of the restrictions, but I actually think this one was better!
