I was at that game....I always wanted to go to Artemio Franchi and I'm glad I did ( apart from the result) I had a great time but yes, Fiorentina are in dire need of a new stadium. Florence is such an amazing city.

29:25 I’ve always been of the belief that Fiorentina are apolitical so I’m very surprised to hear they’re so close with Verona and Catanzaro who are both right wing. I even went to Fiorentina with the famous Glasgow Rangers in 2008 and I definitely didn’t notice anything showing the link with Hellas Verona because I’ve known about their politics as long as I’ve know anything about Italian football.

Although you mentioned yourself that Verona wouldn't have anything to do with them'uns at Livorno, not even with a their mutual friend in Florence, so politics also dictates that some friendships can never be.

@AnthonyMortal Politics and football in Italy is pretty clearcut to us folk from other nations but your country mate 😱 OK to the best of my knowledge your club AEK are really left so why was your player doing the Roman salute that time? Olympiacos are more right wing I believe as are their pals in Russia and Serbia, Spartak and Red Star. PAOK are leftist as far as I know but their fellow Orthodox brothers most definitely are not, Partizan and Central Army Club are both rightist. Panathinaikos really confuse me because I've seen plenty of leftist stuff with them but also far right too 🤔 they're really tight with Rapid Wien who I know personally are generally right, although they have the occasional lefty lurking in their various groups too to be fair. Fradi who are of course really right and Zagreb who are also very right too so I've never been able to get my head round that. Greece is a real mystery to me I must confess.
