McGregor truly believes his own hype and even predicts the outcomes of his fights with stunning accurracy. All this while training hard so basically sometimes it is ok to star in your own movie it just depends on who you are and your mental toughness.

He doesn't actually believe his own hype the way he does in interviews. Most of that is just an act to sell fights. He knows that he needs to train hard in order to win and he doesn't think that he's unbeatable either obviously.

You can train hard as fuck everyday if u think you’re unbeatable that’s what gives you this unbeatable mindset. You wouldn’t not train cus u think you’re unbeatable cus this would deter your belief of feeling unbeatable as you’re not maintaining those heavily trained/skilled components of your game. So firas as much as I agree with u on most things I have to disagree with u on this one my guy.
