Omg…That’s really, extremely loud!!!!! Sounds just as bad as those advances, if not more ear splitting than the advances! Even a few seconds of that can damage your hearing! I’m so, very glad I don’t have to go to school and deal with fire alarms anymore! I’ve been out of school for 8 years and defiantly don’t miss those drills.

Well maybe you and all the others should evacuate not just sit there.
@AndrooUK8 жыл бұрын
Active shopping centres and other retail facilities don't have evacuation practices like a school or office might. You should assume there is a real emergency that may harm you or your loved ones. Fire can go from appearing absent to releasing large amounts of deadly smoke within a couple of minutes when it takes hold, so don't assume because you can't see a problem that there isn't one that can threaten your life or the life of others around you. Don't wait for others to tell you what to do. The group response of humans waiting for someone else to act first is fatal. Assume there is a serious emergency and leave quickly until told otherwise by a fire warden or officer. You can encourage others leave on your way out, you can literally tell them: "The fire alarm is sounding and you should evacuate now." Unsure people respond well to clear commands in an emergency, but don't waste time if they're not interested.

Active shopping centres and other retail facilities don't have evacuation practices like a school or office might. If you hear an emergency alarm, even without voice confirmation or a member of staff giving instructions (even building staff are known to ignore emergency alarms because they are waiting to be told what to do), you should assume there is a real emergency that may harm you or your loved ones. Andrew Williams problem is most of the time people cry wolf so what the hell do you think people normally ignore alarms hello wake up
@AndrooUK7 жыл бұрын
ntcrawford722 No, it's a group/herd response. A real psychological phenomenon, which is interesting to read up on if you check Ol' Google. It happens in assaults, thefts, kidnappings, fires, all sorts of things where groups of people are involved. How many false fire alarms have you ever heard in a place that's not a school? I'd bet not many, if ever.
