It is probably due to a System Sensor sync module in place

@@LoneStarFireAlarmsTXWhy the fuck would there be a System Sensor sync module on a 4007ES
@LoneStarFireAlarmsTXАй бұрын
@ i assumed there was one since the other 4007ES at the other school with 2903s had the system sensor sync module and half of the 2903s were skipping
@officialsimplexguyАй бұрын
No it’s the smartsync from the booster causing a disruption in power hence the skip. Its not the same as how the 7002s skip

I love those horns. Also, it seems like your area really liked to use mini horns during this era. Especially in the classrooms. It’s better than my area, though because most buildings from this time period have almost the exact same setup in the hallways but nothing in the classrooms.

My favorite old Simplex retrofit would be a 2903 light plate (especially dual bulbs) with a 2901-9833 horn inside it

This guy has to be in a district where most of the schools have mini horn strobes in the classrooms, almost all of the schools he inspected.
@FourtyFiftyEightyАй бұрын
That’s just how it was done for these older systems

Those oldschool simplex alarms sound pretty cool in code 3 too not just continuous.

I do love those kinda Simplex Pull Stations.

If those horns and strobe lights are on seperate nacs, might not be a bad idea to code them to temporal.

Now we're talking! This full blasting Simplex system! Do you have videos of modern Simplex too, like the ADA 4903s and QuickAlerts/TrueAlerts?

Also, 2901-9846's are prone to breaking down a lot. It's either that or like you said the faulty wiring

Well it’s different than the late 90s of 4903 series

Why didn’t the alarms go off with the smoke detectors
@KiaraTLGАй бұрын
Yeah I was confused too
@officialsimplexguyАй бұрын
Wonder if the 9806s were originally on a separate nac and that nac was programmed wrong by the same dude who did that 4100es with broken walk test

Probably lmao

WOw 4050-80 really cool system. You should upload more Simplex tests because they're the best. Those 4903s are so cool I hope to have one in my collection some day. That'd be awesome. Can you get one for me please? Also can you get me a 2903? What do you think 4050-80?

Sucks that the old alarms are being replaced way before they completely break down. My heaven I will go to when I die will have all old electromechanical horns. LOL

It will be fixed. That’s the point of fire alarm inspections. To check for any issues and repair them if they occur
