Very fascinating! Having your very own fire alarm system with voice evac in your very own home, is quite the setup! As what I saw in this video... I'd assume you programmed the system to the "Two-Stage" option. That's what we call it here in North America. First, the "Alert" tones and messages are pre-warnings to the general alarm (2nd stage) and can be either timed automatically for "General Alarm" or manually! Here you've programmed the panel to automatic "General Alarm" to take place in a certain amount of time. Great setup by the way! 😊

Hey there, I am looking to upgrade my fire alarm system in my own home. I was just wondering how you obtained your equipment as trade me doesn't really have many listings for fire alarm equipment. I already have 100v speakers and a pertronics F1 fire alarm panel but I need conventional two wire smoke detectors and manual call points. your help would be much appreciated as I have been searching for years! love the videos on your system too. thanks for the help.

hi we live in napier in the TNG bilding now if you want a fier Allam it goes off about 18 times a year trolley as hell it dose 2 beps and then into full evacuation!!

I go to Tawa College in Wellington, and our alarm went off today (false). Ours goes straight into evacuation mode it says "please evacuate through the nearest fire exit". The activation was due to paper catching fire in an economics class when somebody was using a hot glue gun. Annoyed me because I was in the middle of an assessment. I remember one teacher did not go to Assembly point and instead went to staff room because he has a cold so did not want to stand outside in the rain and wind.

Why would anybody have this in there house , a couple of smoke alarms will suffice , no need for call points pal if you see a fire just shout to next person they'll prob be within ten feet of you anyway lol you must have money to burn pardon the pun .

When you have a 455sq meter house with 9 bedrooms and up to 8 children a couple of smoke detectors alarm as you put is not anywhere near enough. And it does not comply. Thanks for you comment.

Hi there. I worked for a fire protection company at the time I installed the system. They are still available from Pertronic. Or you can also use Ampac but Ampac is not my choice.
