I am always scared of fire alarms that have a loud buzzer, but I like talking fire alarms. It’s grate that most fire alarms give verbal instructions. I’m blind, so hearing a fire alarm talk to me can make me feel calm when exiting the building. However, loud buzzers that most fire alarms have give out a shrill blast which makes me feel disoriented. I cannot seem to find the nearest exit with that constant buzzer blast. I can find the nearest exit better if I could hear a fire alarm that gives verbal instructions.

What’s code 3?
@MrTylerNicole18 ай бұрын
@@adilhossain8198It’s the normal fire alarm signal you’re probably familiar with from schools. As the name suggests, it has three pulses of an alarm sound, then a 1.5 second period of silence, then repeating itself until silenced. Code 3 is the most popular signal. Some systems will have just a code 3 tone, while others have a tone combined with voice announcement technology to tell everyone what’s going on.

Most likely because fire alarms actually do commonly go off at airports, usually its a false alarm, this is actually the 3rd time I’ve witnessed this happen at an airport (I’ve previously witnessed this at Newark Liberty International Airport and San Francisco International Airport), now you’re right, in an actual emergency people should be evacuating, when I’m out in public and the fire alarms go off, people literally don’t evacuate, because people assume it’s a false alarm all the time, in every scenario I’ve been in it was, but… man, some people need to think more about evacuating in case there actually is one
