Fire and Rain - James Taylor - Fingerstyle Cover - Tim Bloomer - Alvarez All Stars

James Taylor is one of, if not my all-time favourite artist, and Fire and Rain, from his second album is a true classic. I have been thinking for a while that I needed to play a James Taylor song for an upcoming All Star video, so I recorded this at the end of 2021. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed putting it together.

Yeah I love this guitar too, I feel the 12th fret join brings something to the sound that isn’t there with my other acoustics.

Just beautiful Tim! My wife and I love to listen and watch you play! You happen to be a doppelgänger for our son. So watching you play is really nice. That 12 fret Alvarez sounds so sweet. I am a total Alvarez fan, own several. But, I do not have a dread as yet. This little demo of your has done it’s job. Now I have severe Guitar Acquisition Syndrome, again.
