Fire at a building in Upington, South Africa

Today's daily update video from South Africa is from 3 May 2024. In this video, we start with a fire in Upington, South Africa, which was engulfed in flames earlier today. A fire broke out at a business building on Scott Street in the early hours of this morning. The fire brigade was at the scene, working to extinguish the fire. The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage to the shops are still under investigation. There have been no reported casualties. Then, we watch the sunrise at Wolvekraal guest farm in Prince Albert, in the Western Cape Province of South Africa. We hiked over the Red Dunes in the Kalahari, and then we watched a herd of elephants cross the road in the Mabalingwe Game Reserve. We stop for lunch at the Diesel and Creme outside Barrydale on Route 62. Drive through the Rietvlei nature reserve outside Pretoria. Catch fish on Myoli Beach in Sedgefield. Sunset over False Bay, we visited several more places across South Africa.
