They were all the high pitched ones, I like the lower pitched ones best

Are there any lower pitched horns in this system? I understand they are 2901-9846 so they are usually a higher pitch
@firemarshallrj98382 жыл бұрын
Well yes they are lower pitched horns in that system I don’t know if you watch the whole video all the way but most I recorded are higher pitch there are 9838s out there too in they system and they are lower pitch I should’ve catch it going off

I’ve seen these at park high school back in January (for a tour) which I think this video was taken place, I always wonder why they have the plastic cover over the strobe
@firemarshallrj98382 жыл бұрын
They have it on there because there are a lot of kids tampering with the strobes so they had to put it on there

These are the Extremely Loud Versions of the 2901-9838(Faraday 6126B). This is the 9846 Which The Decibel reading I heard on these Are 110db

@@damaniwilliams8219 I have one. It's like a -9806, if not a tad louder.

@@Fahrenheit4051 Yep!! Exactly my thought. The 9806 Seems to be on the same level just about. To be completely Honest. It Seems That the 2901-9846 Models Have The Same sound output as opposed to the 9838 which Sounds off with a Much Lower pitch usually

Suprised to see these are 2901-9846's And not the 9838. The Decibel reading being 110-115, Yikes. That may also be because Of the Silver Metal plate as opposed to the Black Plastic. I heard a Sound Comparision to its Same horn(Faraday 6126B), and They both sound the same. But I thought these were Flatter, Seems these must be Wall or Box mount than Surface mount. And They next to Gentex Strobes and not On strobe plates suprisingly, Very Rare Indeed, The Setup Seen here, Is Usually something I would see here In Chicago, But With Wheelock Strobes Usually. Since Simplex/Wheelock Is the Main Carrier around here Also, The panel seems to be a 4002 or So, Since I dont hear any FWR output and they dont sound sick

@@firemarshallrj9838 I usually see setups like this here in Chicago, But with Wheelock Strobes with Simplex Horns(Or Wheelock Horns with Simplex Truealert strobes). I have seen the oddest Setups, A Hospital I used to work for Had Faraday 6126 Horns on 4904-9139 Strobe plates. If the system was not in 1st stage, The Signal Code was March Time(90BPM). I have never ran into A Setup here as We Use Continuous Code as General Code. So Rare indeed. But I am shocked to see these were installed Alongside 2901-9846 Horns
