Genology of the Holy War is the most beloved of the Franchise....by the elitest who like to whine at ever FE after and before that game came out and refuse to acknowledge it had some pretty major flaws (Admitting them doesn't hurt or show they hate the game, but the worst thing is getting mad at newbies who try it on their word and they admit the story and character's were great, but the gameplay was hellish and dragonic if not boring because poor unique LARGE map designs. are still poor unique LARGE map designs), Thracia is a mixed bag storywise because of some of the retcons to certain characters like the Dragon Riding King Garon was based slightly on and story moments from FE 4 and well if the Fatigue system worked like Shadow's of Valentia and Gaiden chapters not being just fancy rescue missions cause the game failed to inform properly that ANY UNIT THAT DOESN'T ESCAPE BEFORE LEIF WILL COUNT AS CAPTURE, Plus Leif was good only because he could not be screwed over by the Fatigue system being a REQUIRED unit, It's only a holy grail because it connects to FE4 which is something that will start an actual Holy War if IS dares to remake it like Shadows of Valentia good or not

@IcIcle Oh true. Plus at Warriors,with Marth and Chrom talking to each other,that talk is the proof of how twisted Marth's legend was. Chrom didn't knew who was the true Marth because everyone exgerated on his Legend,and Chrom ended uo not knowing the actual story. Another example,everyone from Archanea calling Naga a god,but she's not! They exagerated all of her efforts to help humankind. Anri was probably just the same as Marth,a sweet man who wanted peace,and he got peace thanks to many people helping in his army.

to clear things up, shadow dragon was a remake of the first fe. fe3 was a remake of fe1 for the snes, but also included the sequel, book 2. fe12, released in Japan after shadow dragon, was only book 2.

It's insane how you only really fight a true Dark Dragon once in all of Kaga's Fire Emblem games. Medeus is just an Earth Dragon in FE1, and Duma is a Divine Dragon that's degenerated into a Fell God. Julius has Loptous' power, sure but he himself is not a true 100% Dark Dragon. Medeus is the only tried and true Dark Dragon you ever face and honestly that alone is worth distinguishing him from the rest.

Worth mentioning that Loptous isn't even a dark dragon themselves. They're an earth dragon just like Medeus which explains the similar names but Loptous was one of the earth dragon who refused to become manaketes and instead made a blood pact with Bishop Galle to live on through his blood.

@@darthwinsor That's probably because it's just what he looked like. If I remember correctly, in FE3, earth dragons have dark purple breath, so that might have something to do with it. I'm probably just grasping at straws though. The most likely reason that it's a dark dragon is that they wanted to get the "Julius bad, Julia good" point across.

@@chrislowes870 Technically there weren't any "Dark Dragons" in the first place. It was just Divne Dragons and Earth Dragons and other unmentioned Dragon tribes. However we can consider those that rebelled and fought the Divne Dragons as Dark Dragons because I mean just look at Medeus and Loptous

Marth's Critical Hit as a Final Smash in 1:43 and 4:05. This attack was so rare to used it in every RPG games because it's powerful to use this ability until use them if you missed the attack too much or not then it use major damage.

Probably the first, because the Starsphere (which boosts all growth rates by 30%) is available longer. Btw Medeus is statistically identical in both books, except in Book 2, he has 10 more strength.

Ya know I wasn't interested in playing the Pre-GBA games until now because I thought they looked kinda ugly, some of the character portraits were hideous, and some of the music was a bit obnoxious. But, now that I'm seeing a full fight, this game looks pretty cool. Now if only both me and my computer weren't too stupid to download a SNES emulator.
