I think this is from another patch I applied to this rom and forgot about. I didn't realize myself until an updated translation patch came out and I noticed Fae's dragonstone had more durability than it should, but by that point the video had been up for a few years and it was too late to do anything about it.

A perfect example of "Die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain". Back when I was kid playing these games, yup it's very easy to back the main character, they're the HERO! Decades later I find myself actually backing Zephiel on this. Fuck humans. Give the world to Dragons. Just look at Arcadia, dragons have a proven track record of being wise and fair, it's human treachery that fucks everything up time and time again. The Hero Fallacy: "Your solution is bad, because I cannot accept the cost! Well, no, I don't really have a better solution- BUT I BELIEVE WE CAN FIND ONE!"

Even in a world of dragons, there's no guarantee things wouldn't go wrong in that world either. Especially when some dragons do lose it. The only reason Zephiel hated humans is all based off his attempted murders on his life due to royal family issues that ultimately drove him mad and killed his father attempting to kill him persistently. I'm not going to go with the whole talk with humans, besides the only ones who does the greedy stuff are always the immature and insecure, and those who got it bad tend to drag everyone else into their crud. For Zephiel, he thinks himself the immediate judge, jury, and executioner and tries to write off everyone else's lives and no one asked him to do all that stuff he did. I know some can empathize with his past, but many can agree that he's too lost in anger and hate to even assume things and impulsively tries to end mankind because his life was challenged over circumstances beyond his control. I do blame the King and Queen over their bout with who claims the throne, they ultimately drove their son into the villain he became in the games. But no one else should pay because of those things that happened to him, especially those who are unaware and are trying to survive a war they were better off not having.

You know zephiel would kill every human in Arcadia right, no ifs or buts, he had to be stopped or literally everyone would die. Tell me, do you think fucking Yahn would be a fair and just ruler? The dragons aren’t blameless either, Idunn is the result of them stripping a young dragon of its soul and making it produce endless amounts of war dragons. You can also see in game that zephiel’s goal was wrong. How can treachery be bad if every human was bad. The betrayal at Ostia wouldn’t need to be stopped if they were all bad, but it’s because that there are good people there that Roy marched to stop them. Zephiel himself is disgusted with the traitors but he fails to ask himself why he should care, because that would be admitting that there are people not like his father.

Zephiel was a victim of his parents petty political games. Unfortunately his anger and hate has consumed him to the point that his insane plans would be bad for Everyone, Humans and Dragons. Just because he had it bad doesnt mean the human race deserves genocide. Only a fool would speak in absolutes.

This is a very short sighted and naive comment. Yes there are humans who are evil. Not every dragon is good either. Zephiel is too blinded by hate and anger to see the folly of his plan. Just because his scumbag dad tried to off him many times doesnt mean the entire human race has to be wiped out. You can sympathize with what he went through, he still had to be stopped.
