Jahn should of been the strength of the fire dragon from FE7, he's allegedly the last true dragon still around, and the FE7 one was a "true dragon" and not a battle dragon.

The fire dragon had left the planet before the scouring ever happened.

The Fire Dragon in FE7 was born on the other side of the gate, safe from the weakened state of the world that was caused by the abusing of the Divine Weapons during the Scouring. Jahn was trapped, sealed with Idounn, and badly wounded. It took him this long to recover due to his weakened regeneration factor, and he still cannot take his true form without the use of a dragon stone. So yeah, FE7 Dragon should be stronger than Jahn with all of that in mind. Makes sense. As for Idounn... I don't have an explanation for why she's so pathetically weak.

Wait, does that mean that Idunn was originally similar to Naga, Mila, and Duma?

@@lpfan4491 Dragons seem to be tied, yet distant on each continent. In Elibe the dragons were wiped almost to extinction with only the Arcadia ones, Jahn, and Idoun remaining. Meanwhile in Archaenia they are alive and well, it's just the majority have gone feral. Seems in Jugdral they are all gone, if they were even there from the get-go, Loptous was brought *to* Jugdral by Bishop Gale, he was not native to there, and the divine dragons answered the call of Jugdral's humans who were unable to stop him. The only consistent thing throughout the series I can find is Naga is a god-tier dragon who, along with the others in the Divine Tribe, helps humans fight against the Earth Tribe (their enemy, which contains both earth and dark dragons) who at best manipulates them in to slaves, or at worst commits genocide against them. The other dragon tribes seem to side with one of those two, or flip-flop. For example the ice dragons seem to remain loyal to the Divine Tribe (the ones you fight in FE3/12 are feral ones who went mad) while the fire dragons sided with the Earth tribe. Though a few games there seems to be little to no relation. In Sacred Stones Myrrh or her father are not said to have any relation to the dragon tribes, and in Tellius the dragon Laguz, as far as I recall, don't have any relation to them either. But who knows in the end.

You were so desperate for victory against mortals that you kidnapped and broke one of your own kind?! How could you be so cruel?! You say emotions are worthless when it was Idunn’s wish to preserve the peace between both your kind! She’s not the villain in all this… it’s you! You’re wrong about dragons and humans not living in harmony! I know someone, a lord who fell in love with a dragon. It was through that love they bore a son.
