Screen shakes a little. Kind of funny FE7 was the first game every class had a unique critical hit. Even FE6 which you would think, pegasus knights using ranged lances and paladins using ranged axes didn't have them, just the screen shake. Though heroes in FE3 had a pretty cool lethal critical.

I've developed a hate for Gordin. I don't know why, but every time i look at his portrait and see his smug expression, I think of him as a small child little brat who joins your army and ruins your day. He just seems like the type of kid you'd tell to go attack the enemy, but instead he'd go run just to annoy you. The only issue is that he's really op for some reason and he destroys bosses so i use him in every battle. Gordin sucks Edit: i just saw the anime dub, i both hate him and love him now but MARRSSSS

If I'm hearing properly, they're only using one square channel, a triangle channel, and a noise channel. Why wouldn't they just make the song a bit more complex by adding a second square channel and having a channel stop playing momentarily if a sound effect plays?

At first I thought the NES had better PSG than other 8bit consoles and computers, but if those other consoles can already use a square wave without combining two channels, there are situations where the NES can't keep up.
